A New Vantage Point

There’s 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜 I wish I’d known when I was younger.

It’s FAR bigger than achievement or perfection 👇

It’s about Perspective.

When I was younger, I was always:

1. Too stubborn

2. Too bold

3. Too much of a boundary-pusher

But no one explained to me that that also meant that I was:

1. Steadfast and unbreakable

2. Brave and resourceful

3. Pioneering and visionary

You see, I had to learn these perspectives during some dark times. When I believed that bad things were happening to me *because* I was too stubborn, too bold, too...

Until one day, I looked back and thought

“Thank goodness I survived that. I really don’t know how I did it. I don’t know where I got the strength for…”

And then… BOOOOMMMM 💥

It dawned on me. The things that other people told me were bad, were actually the things that sustained me and helped me survive.

My so-called flaws were my bona fide superpowers.

Perspective helps us embrace ourselves where we are 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙮𝙬𝙚𝙖𝙡𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙮𝙝𝙖𝙫𝙚.

There’s an old expression “Either a glass is half empty or it’s half full”.

If you’ve been told that your glass is half empty, that ALSO means that it’s already half full of something.

What’s your glass holding?

What already makes you amazing?
