A New Vantage Point

Thereโs ๐ค๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐๐ฃ๐ I wish Iโd known when I was younger.
Itโs FAR bigger than achievement or perfection ๐
Itโs about Perspective.
When I was younger, I was always:
1. Too stubborn
2. Too bold
3. Too much of a boundary-pusher
But no one explained to me that that also meant that I was:
1. Steadfast and unbreakable
2. Brave and resourceful
3. Pioneering and visionary
You see, I had to learn these perspectives during some dark times. When I believed that bad things were happening to me *because* I was too stubborn, too bold, too...
Until one day, I looked back and thought
โThank goodness I survived that. I really donโt know how I did it. I donโt know where I got the strength forโฆโ
And thenโฆ BOOOOMMMM ๐ฅ
It dawned on me. The things that other people told me were bad, were actually the things that sustained me and helped me survive.
My so-called flaws were my bona fide superpowers.
Perspective helps us embrace ourselves where we are ๐ฌ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ค๐ช๐ฃ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐๐๐ก๐ง๐๐๐๐ฎ๐๐๐ซ๐.
Thereโs an old expression โEither a glass is half empty or itโs half fullโ.
If youโve been told that your glass is half empty, that ALSO means that itโs already half full of something.
Whatโs your glass holding?
What already makes you amazing?
