A New Vantage Point

Thereโ€™s ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™š ๐™ฉ๐™๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ I wish Iโ€™d known when I was younger.

Itโ€™s FAR bigger than achievement or perfection ๐Ÿ‘‡

Itโ€™s about Perspective.

When I was younger, I was always:

1. Too stubborn

2. Too bold

3. Too much of a boundary-pusher

But no one explained to me that that also meant that I was:

1. Steadfast and unbreakable

2. Brave and resourceful

3. Pioneering and visionary

You see, I had to learn these perspectives during some dark times. When I believed that bad things were happening to me *because* I was too stubborn, too bold, too...

Until one day, I looked back and thought

โ€œThank goodness I survived that. I really donโ€™t know how I did it. I donโ€™t know where I got the strength forโ€ฆโ€

And thenโ€ฆ BOOOOMMMM ๐Ÿ’ฅ

It dawned on me. The things that other people told me were bad, were actually the things that sustained me and helped me survive.

My so-called flaws were my bona fide superpowers.

Perspective helps us embrace ourselves where we are

Thereโ€™s an old expression โ€œEither a glass is half empty or itโ€™s half fullโ€.

If youโ€™ve been told that your glass is half empty, that ALSO means that itโ€™s already half full of something.

Whatโ€™s your glass holding?

What already makes you amazing?
